History
4 Seasons Real Estate Ltd. was established by Gaston Gaucher in 1973 after being licensed since 1960. In 1973 Gaston purchased a small, 4 man company named Lund & Warren in Kelowna and changed the name to 4 Seasons Real Estate Ltd. In 1972 Gaston's son Grant Gaucher, at the young age of 22, joined his father in the Real Estate family business. After only one year of being a sales representative Grant got his brokerage license and did a total of 91 deals in only 11 months.
In 1976 Grant moved to Fernie, BC and started 4 Seasons Kootenay Ltd. After two and a half years of being in Fernie, Grant relocated back to Kelowna and opened a new 4 Seasons office at 444 Bernard Ave. Finally in 1992 Grant purchased and developed the land at 3275 Lakeshore Road where 4 Seasons Real Estate still currently has its offices, which is also the thriving Lower Mission Park Mall.
For 25 years 4 Seasons was supported by 15-25 sales people and up until 10 years ago Grant Gaucher himself was a full time sales representative. Grant sold residential real estate for 15 years before getting into commercial real estate.
